Jan. 6, 2009: Disney Land!

A dream come true... we took the kids to Disneyland! (OK... in truth, I was the one wanting to go to Disneyland, but the kids had fun too.)

We arrived there about a half hour after it had opened and it took Tory almost 45 min. in line to buy our tickets to just get in! (Which we could have bought "on line", but we didn't know what day we were going until the day before.) The first ride we went on was a new Buzz Light Year ride.

I didn't realize they were so short when I was making them, sorry.

Tory's cousin Jennifer live only a few miles away and had a season pass so she met us there for a few hours and took some pictures for us. This family picture was taken waining in line about 25 min. for Peter Pan ride...

But we couldn't all fit in one boat.

Then we went on Pinocico, (if you laugh at my spelling fine.. I admit it, I can't spell!)

This is Jennifer's little boy.

We didn't see many Disney Characters around, but we got pictures with Jessie & Woody.

We took the train to Toon Town because Chase has been wanting to meet Mickey Mouse ever since we told him we were going there.

So these are a few pictures in Mickey's House.

When we got in to see Mickey their professional camera had died so they took pictures with our camera for us.

Outside of Mickey's House was a little car...




Then we rode the Go-Go Gadget Roller coaster, and the Matterhorn, Cars at Autotopia, Rockets, and Winney the Pooh I think that was it.

Smallworld was closed down, and Haunted Mansion, Roger Rabbit broke down just as we went to get in line for it, and there just wasn't enough time in one day to do it all. By 5:30 we were all physically done! But I got video tape and it was a lot of fun.
