Flash Back Friday!!

Well here is my first Flash back Friday... I decided to show some baby pictures of all of us. My goal was to find the pictures that my kids look almost identical but in my archive I can't find the ones I was looking for and since I hate taking too long to get a new post finished these will have to do!

If you cant tell by the handsome young father this is me. My dad was 23 and my mom was 19!

This is Chase ...

This is Tyler.

This is ME driving the car...

And Chase is driving the boat!

This is Tyler's blessing day. Both of my boy's wore their Dad's blessing outfit.

I didn't have many baby pictures of Tory, but I do have his blessing picture.

And this is Chase.

I love my boys! If I'm lucky enough this next one will be a girl, but if its a boy I love him too!

In the end They have a piece of Tory and I but here, Chase looks a lot like his dad!

The Flowers!

Ok... This was my first time making this kind of bouquet! This picture looks like her white flowers are pushing them selves out a bit. I wish I had taken a second to take pictures as soon as I finished making it but I didn't.

It only took about an hour to make them ,but I had a hard time. The stems on the lillys were so short that it made it hard to get them to stay where I wanted them to, I re-started the whole thing 3 times. But in the end I was happy with it.
You can't see it very well but there are some green lilly grass loops, and I ordered "bear grass" but they didn't have any. Bear grass is a little skinnier and would have been easier to work with but oh well!

Derek's boutonniere turned out awesome! I was pleased.
The cake was like heather said, amazing and unique... a few flowers adds a final touch.

Of course I am my wort critic, but I love doing flowers. I found a few old pictures of some other arrangements I have done in the past. My dad always told me I should take pictures of my work... now I'm wishing I had.

I made my cousin Shelly's wedding bouquet (real flowers and the same pixie callillies). it was a different design than Amanda's and I loved it; just wish I had a picture of it!
This is a picture of my Great grandma's funeral flowers that I had the privilege of making... it was my first casket arrangement.

Another thing I love is birdhouses. I decorated these ones while I was working at Petals and Stems. I first learned to make flowers from my grandma Ann Harris. She is so gifted! I helped her with my cousin Jennifer's wedding flowers and from that little experience I got hired at Petals and Stems and learned how to do it all!

I made Anna and Heather's flowers for their weddings also. Silk is much more forgiving than fresh! if you mess up you can pull it out and re glue it. Fresh... you only get one shot.

So that is one of the things I enjoy doing.... FlOWERS!

Baby's and Weddings!

If you can't tell this is a picture of my first ultrasound taken on 12-11-2008. at that time I was 9 weeks. So that puts me about 15 or 16 weeks right now!

I have been throwing up every morning since about 2-3 weeks into my pregnancy, and occasionally a couple times in the morning not just once!

The "all day" nausea is finally going away but mornings haven't gotten much better. But like I usually say, I'm grateful for my morning sickness because for me that usually means the baby is fine, and after 2 miscarriages in the last year that is a comforting thing.

Derek and Amanda had their wedding reception 4 days ago on Saturday. I had the privilege of making her bridal bouquet! Roses and pixi Cal Lillies! I took my camera with me to take some pictures of my hard work but since Chase loves to watch all the short vacation videos there wasn't even enough batteries life to take one picture! so I asked Heather to take some for me.

So when I get a hold of her (because she is working full time now) then I' ll get those posted!

I swiped these two pictures off of Anna's blog. We all love Amanda and are very glad Derek has found her. They will be moving this weekend, which makes me sad because I'm looking forward to getting to know her better and have another sister!

The rest of Sea World

The first day we went to Sea World Tory ran into a girl named Cari. He knew her from college. She was a Family Home Evening Sister.

She went to work at Sea World for a summer after her mission and loved it so much she never left!

On our "Behind the Scene's tour" we got to go in some areas general public wasn't allowed. One area was where they keep baby sharks and the eggs.

This picture is us on a ride just like the "tea cups" at Disney Land. Sea World doesn't let you take any pictures or film while you are on the rides, but a worker took this for us before it started.

Needles to say I broke the rules and took a short film any way! because Tyler loved the Elmo area!

The mime and the Seal were form the new Pirate ship/ submarine show with Seamore and Clyde.

These are Salt water eels. They aren't electric like the ones on Little Mermaid... those are fresh water eels!

Above is the Dolphin holding tank for studies and new moms with babies!

Tory thought this bird looked pretty neat!

I'll spare you all the pictures Chase took in the aquariums but here are a few!

Flamingos!

This is more fun in the Elmo play area! And here is Tyler meeting Elmo for the first time!

I wasn't fast enough getting the camera out to film him running to Elmo but I got it out in time for the first hug.

Tory's friend Cari gave us free tickets to feed the Dolphins... about $24 worth of fish! She was so nice.

The photographer caught great pictures of us and the kids so of course we had to get them! Like I say...Priceless!

The Dolphin show was almost a neat as Shamu!

And here is a short highlight of the Shamu show!
