Sun. Dec. 14: Fun With Dad

On Sunday there was so much snow Chase of course wanted to go out and play, so Tory told Chase that if he waited till after church he would go out with him.

So Tory and Chase built a snow fort together. I feel bad that most of the viedo's are all Chase and not Ty, but he is not a fan of the snow! I put a snow suit and gloves and hat on him and sent him out with the boys and about 5 min. later he was crying wanting to come in.So I have him on a home viedo but not on a short one.

Tory asked me if we had anything to use as a sled, and the next thing I know here he was with the recycling bin with a rope around it. Dads are the best!

Dec. 8: The First Snowfall in December...

Yesterday we woke up to snow! When Chase woke up Tory told him it was snowing, so at ^:0 a.m. he eagerly jumped out of bed and ran to the sliding glass door to see.

He was so excited to play in the snow I let him out for about 15 min. before he had to leave go to pre-school at 9:00.

For family home evening that night we finally decorated our tree. I say finally because it has bee up with lights and the star on since the Monday before Thanksgiving, but we are just now getting around to putting on the ribbon and ornaments.

Chase hung the stockings, and after 24 hrs I've decided the candy canes need to come off... Tyler keeps getting them.

Dec. 5, Micron Family Christmas Party

Ok... this is a terrible picture of us with Santa. We actually have a Polaroid of it but my printer is out of ink, therefore it won't even let me scan this picture so I took a picture of the picture... the point is we got to see Santa. of course neither of the boys would sit on his lap, and Chase doesn't even like candy canes (yeah, more for me!)

The first thing we did when we got there (at the Idaho Center) was go upstairs and eat some dinner.

They had mini corn dogs, tater tots, carrots, olives, pretzels, milk, pop... not a lot, but enough to get something on our stomachs.

They had all kinds of kid stations with booths to throw balls, or make a basket in a stocking, or fishing... each station they won a prize.

Chase and Tyler loved the jumping and slides... Tory or I had to go in too to help Tyler on the big ones.

There was a swing machine; Tyler's face wasn't convincing that he loved it, but at least he didn't fall off like another kid did while my boys were on it!

This was the fist thing Chase and Tory did... kind of and obstacle course!

For Thanksgiving We went to Stay with Tory's Family in Logan, UT. I wish one of us would hoave taken a few pictures, we had quite the crowd there. I think we had about 33 of us.... any way:

On Friday most of the adults in the family went to see Australia!

I loved it!!!

It was almost 3 hours long had a few "choice" words, but what movie doesn't now days.

It even had some history that I didn't know. I highly recommend it if your looking for a good movie to see. But as I know from experience, just because someone says it's good doesn't mean it is because like food everyone has different preferences... but as for me I loved it and would probably see it again in the theatre if I wasn't so cheep!

Nov. 26, Chase's Preschool Thanksgiving Party!

The day before Thanksgiving Chase's preschool class had a little party.
There was fruit and rolls and turkey lunch meat, and cake and cookies, and juice boxes for the kids.

I thought this was so cute...

This is a picture of Chase and his cousin Megan.

Megan is Kristina's daughter: My cousin, and his teacher (Miss Niki). She is so wonderful! I'm surprised every day by how much Chase is learning. He came home one day and said the entire "pledge a allegiance" without missing a word!

Nov. 22...Night with the girls...

On Saturday November 22, Two days after Twilight came out...

My Mom and sisters and I went to the Majestic Theaters in Meridian to see the 2:00 show!

I won't be a critic... I enjoyed the movie... but I still absolutely love the books!

Anna did give me permission to post this picture...

I hope the movie made enough money to have a bigger budget on filming the next one.

I tried to take a picture of my ticket...
obviously it didn't turn out well.

After the movie we went to Olive Garden for dinner... unfortunately I had so much licorice, junior mints, popcorn, and root beer, I didn't have much room for anything more than soup and salad!

Nov. 21... Surprise Date!

On Friday November 21, 2008 my husband took me on a surprise date... He pre-planned to have my parents to watch our kids for the evening and the first thing he said to me before he left the house in the morning was... "I'll be home at 5; be ready to go and dress nice!" He then kissed me and told me he loved me and was out the door.

He took me to dinner a PF Chang's... a Chinese restaurant down town, then we went to the Morrison Center to see the Forgotten Carols. We had front row seats slightly to the right of the middle.

I had heard some of the music from it before but it was completely wonderful to see it on stage. I didn't know the story line behind the music (I thought I did), but I was impressed beyond what I expected. Of course half way through I started to cry when a song about "holding Mary's baby" started, and my sweet husband pulled a handful of tissues out of his pocket. Which made me cry more. He know me so well!

If you ever get a chance to see it on stage do it! The tickets are very reasonable. I asked Tory what I did to deserve such a special date and he said, "It's my way of saying thank you for painting the house, because without you it wouldn't have gotten done!"

Here is a few more I took recently... Tyler fell asleep at the dinner table because he didn't take a nap, and Tory and Ty fell asleep on the couch on a Sunday after church while I was at a meeting.
