Chase's First Ski Trips!

Over President's Day Bogus Basin had a sale on their season passes. Tory loves to ski but hasn't had a season pass since before we were married. Last year he turned 30.


I had big plans to make the big"3"-"0" very special, but if you know me I'm better at planning than executing, so nothing official ever got set in stone and to make a long story short I didn't even have a birthday cake for him. So I decided to secretly buy him a season pass for 2010 (which can be used for the rest of the 2009 season).

I planned to keep it a secret and give it to him on his b-day in June, but we got so much snow last month I decided he would get more use out of it now than by waiting.

The fun thing is that Chase was able to get a season pass free because he in under the age of 6!

So these pictures were taken on Chase's 2nd trip skiing with his dad. They both love it! I wish I could go see him ski, but that will have to wait until next season starts!

Every time Tory gets home late from work Chase says, "Where is Dad?" and I tell him he's not home from work yet and Chase says, "I think he's Skiing..." But I assure him every time Dad wouldn't go without telling him!

A Beautiful Day at the Park!

On Friday last week it was so beautiful! If I remember right the tempurature got up around the 70's.

Tory got off work a little early so we could take the kids to a park.

I packed sandwiches, chips, grapes, and cookies and around 4:30 we went to Veterens's Park. The boys played for 40 min. on the playground.

Then we put them in our stroller and went for a long walk on the green belt, fed some ducks, and came back to play some more. We left the park around 6:30 and had a wonderful time!
